Meet Mark

A native Floridian, Mark Bircher was born in Pensacola and has made his home in Pinellas County since 2001. Mark is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the Stetson University College of Law. His active duty and reserve military career spanned over 38 years, retiring from the Marine Corps Reserve in 2009 as a Brigadier General. Mark served as a fighter pilot and squadron commander. Recalled to active duty in 2003, he deployed for the Iraq invasion. Mark later served as Commanding General of the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing and Marine Forces South. He is employed as a commercial airline pilot and is a member of the Florida Bar. Mark met his wife, Jackie Spoto Bircher, at the MacDill AirFest. They have a son, Bill.
I have served our nation proudly and would be honored to continue that service as your Congressman. My principles are limited government, fiscal responsibility, and adherence to our Constitution.
